HDRnB is an original R&B/soul/groove band founded by in late 2010, featuring Henley Douglas Jr. (sax), John Iltis (drums), Charlie O'Neal (guitar), Peter Fedele (guitar) and Brandon Tarricone (guitar) Squantch (trombone), David Walker (bass). The band features Garret Savluk (trumpet) and Yahuba (percussion) on special shows.  Henley Douglas Jr.'s early career includes stints with the Big Dig Saxophone Quartet and Skin, a Boston-based funk-rock outfit that would open for acts like the Neville Brothers and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He founded the Heavy Metal Horns, a band that reached international acclaim in the 90s, and for 10 years, fronted the Boston Horns, a funk/jazz band also featuring HMH alum Garret Savluk.  Vital Signs I  will be featured on Sirius XM Satellite Radio - The Loft with Meg Griffin

1:00 pm - 6:00 pm Meg Griffin A bona-fide radio legend and one of a handful of DJs celebrated in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame and Museum, "Megless" actually went to school to be a veterinarian, but after getting a gig at a college radio station, she was hooked. 30 years in radio later, we can see her instincts were spot on. Henley Douglas Jr. will be doing a interview with Meg to promote the new release by Henley Douglas RnB. Here's a link to the show:


New CD Vital Signs I  has been released. Henley Douglas RnB recorded 11 original songs at Woolly Mammoth Studios. This music was recorded live featuring 3 guitars, 3 horns with special guest Yahuba on percussion and Henley's long time music collaborator Garret Savluk on trumpet. Garret's song "Latin Soul" is part of this work. Check out the links on the website to get this cd.
